I hate to call out a single player and I know it's a team game, but am I the only one to notice that #3 Bryan Evans gets burned week after week for for Touchdowns? He got burned twice vs Vandy for TD's. Someone needs to step up, I did notice Vance Cuff came in for him after their 2nd TD and he did a much better job.

Yeah, Cuff covered better. But also saw him drop an interception. TOO MANY OPPORTUNITIES yesterday in our secondary were not taken advantage of. But on the other hand, I saw more created opportunities yesterday than the previous games. Definitely a work in progress.

I don't begrudge the second touchdown, a perfect pass.

Keep in mind Evans has been picked on a bit more b/c other teams are avoiding the throws to Asher Allen's side. The one TD pass to the back pylon yesterday was an absolute perfect throw and not even Champ could have stopped that one.
My only worry is I have yet to see Bryan turned around and in good position to make a play on the ball which spells disaster in either a catch or penalty every time. Seeing this a few times makes me think back to when Paul Oliver shut down Calvin Johnson his last year as a Dawg. He was undersized(to Johnson) and played perfect positioning as a corner to shut him down. Someone needs to dig that film out for Bryan and have him watch how to stick with a larger receiver and get in good position to make a play or stop one.

TOTALLY agree with ya'll. If I were an offensive coordinator, I would never even consider running the ball if Evans is on the field. I would throw at him every play. Maybe it would be better to blitz him and let a safety cover him up.
