Having just returned from Athens, I have a few observations of the Tennessee game.
The Good:
Matthew Stafford- Okay, I know you are thinking, what about the two interceptions?
Well, he came back both times and engineered touchdown drives. Sitting right behind the bench, I saw him shake off his mistakes, (Some might argue, with a little too much aplomb.) suck it up and move on. He reminds me of Snake Stabler in that way, a cool kid.
Blair Walsh- Four for Four and from where I sat, it looked like he kicked the last one through a partial block.
Brannon Southerland- It's great to have him back, the soul of the team. You can feel his positive energy.
The Last Drive- Georgia Football, Dooley Style. Run it down their throats. Could it be the OL found their identity yesterday? Vastly improved.
Rushing Defense- Need I say more? Actually, I think the defense as a whole played a pretty good game.
The Bad:
Red Zone Offense- Touchdowns, not Field Goals.
Passing Defense- Missed assignments, confusion and bewilderment.
The Ugly:
Phil Fulmer On The Sideline.
GO DAWGS!
