Gotcha sadlerdawg, just actually responding to Staffordgirl08's thinking that all we have to do is shut down Tebow. Well, Tebow just AIN'T the problem anymore, it's Demps, Harvin, Rainey and James....speed like NEVER before in college football....EVER, and with no pass rush we can't match up with these guys....geez, we can't match up with 11 second 100 meter speed, much less 10 second speed. May need to rely on Urban's lack of coaching ability.

I hate to say it but if UF plays like that in JAX then were are going to get stomped.

I think we have a better offense that LSU but our D is soft. We should do a decent job of stopping the run but Tebow can throw and is going to torch our secondary.

It will be close if we get them in a shootout. I think we should be worried about Vandy next week more than anything else. We were lucky to beat them last year and I personally believe we were a better team last season.

Sorry staffordgirl08. I'm with about being around gaytors ALL the time since I live in Jax. Prefer your analysis than mine, for sure.

Getdown11....we will beat Vandy by 14 at least. Vandy became Vandy again last week. Besides, who have they really beaten?

wlayton...true but then again at the end of the day who have we beaten? I honestly thought the Dawgs should have buried a pathetic UT team but it didn't turn out that way.

Guys, I hate to say it, but I think we're experiencing a down SEC the way we did in 2006. It's bad after we've won the last two national titles, because with Tennessee and Auburn -- two traditional powers -- being this bad, surviving an SEC schedule this year isn't going to have the clout it had last year.

Think about it. In 2006:

We went 9-4, losing to Vandy and Kentucky in the same year.
Alabama went 6-7, losing to Mississippi State, Arkansas and Oklahoma State
Tennessee went 9-4, losing to Arkansas and Penn State
Eventual national champion Florida had to survive one-point games over South Carolina and Tennessee

We might be having that same year again this year, with Vanderbilt being this year's Arkansas. We're at the halfway mark, so it's difficult to tell. Just win, is all. Just win.
