Good time fans

oledawg, thanks for the thread. There will always be the element that throw in the towel when things get a bit off center. UGA has a very good football team, Alabama has a very good football team. Southern Cal has the greatest team that the game of football has seen, maybe ever. If that is the case, as the talking heads said up until the last few days, how were they beaten. You have the answer for that. . . .TEAM. TEAM means a lot of things to those that really care about the game. The TEAM consists of FANS as well as the players and coaches. Some folks that post carry a little too much piss and vinegar in my opinion. The same folks that watch football, but when the game is over can critique the game and post what should have been. Too much is put into the rating of football teams by folks that don't know any more about the game than the rest of us. Maybe not as much. Wonder what the Alabama folks thought about last years game, overtime loss. Same goes for us this year, hurts, but we don't jump on the TEAM. Go Dawgs!

I understand what all of you are saying. I am however not a \"Good Time Fan\".I'll be back in two weeks yelling and screaming like a fool for the Dawgs. When my kids do something bad, I get on to them. That however does not mean I love them any less. ( apples and oranges I know but the point is the same )

I do believe they played like pooh. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see they only played about 13-17 minutes of a 60 minute game. It's not that they lost that angers me. It's a rough game. You can't win them all. It's how they lost the game that makes me mad. They had no fire, they were confused a good bit of the time, and they make careless mistakes. That all falls on the coaches and the players.

As for the defense, it's the same old song and dance again with WM. I don't know what to do. I know his defenses are not consistant(good or bad).

Of course, this is MY OPINION just like calling those that get on the team for piss poor play \"Good Time Fans\" is your opinion. I do think we will come back out and play good Georgia football. I'm just upset it takes a kick in the stuff to get it done. We are better than that.
