College Gameday

It just occurred to me that at some point on Saturday, Lee Corso is going to stick a mascot's head on his own as his pick. You know the maroon is going to pick Alabama, you just know it. What strikes me as interesting about this is that when he does put that elephants head on, he'll finally have found a mascot head big enough for his ears. Somebody's gotta take a picture of that!!

LimeyDawg, got a kick out of your post. I try and remember this . . . Lee Corso works for ESPN (like it or not) and what I do like about this guy is this. . . . he will voice his opinion. However, don't find any prejudice in his statements when it comes to picking winners and losers. I do know for a fact that he respects Mark Richt. Personally, wish that more of the talking heads would go more to the facts, as they see them, and then predict. Will say this for Corso, he is a stand-up guy, like him or not. When the game is over, he will congratulate the winner, and not kick the loser. Just what I have witnessed as a bystander. Respect your post. Go Dawgs, make Corso pat you on the head and offer a bone when this game is over.

Corso is a FSU guy so he really likes CMR and WISHES he would return to FSU.

Corso is in the entertainment business. He knows that and is making a killing with the mascot heads. I think he chooses a team based on the crowd reaction, vs which team he truly thinks will win. Herbstreit, on the other hand, is a good analyst and will pick the team he thinks has the best chance to win.

Not really, if i were to place my bets on his pick i would be broke. he gets a obvious games right...aka USC vs OSU. other than that his pick are hit and miss!
