The Problem at Hand

I think the OL got better as the ASU game wore on.
We need to establish the run early. They are a good defensive team against the run and we must control the line of scrimmage.
This should be our coming out party. We get a week off after this game. I hate to go into a bye week with a loss.
I think we win by ten.

I think the OL is pretty decent. We managed their blitz packages relatively well. Heck Im pretty sure the brought the house for most of the 1st half in an effort to stuff our running game. They did a pretty good job of it too until Green and Stafford started to light up the ASU secondary.

Our run D is lights out.

Alabama should be a good game but I have to admit I hope it is a blow out for the Dawgs. This is a statement game if there ever was one.

Go Dawgs!!!!

I think everyone would agree that the Oline did better against ASU, but thats ASU. This Saturday it will be Alabama under NS who is notorious for defense. Also who wouldn't want MS to be their QB with game management and everything else in the package. It won't matter who is your QB if the Oline cant contain the rush coming at them, the area is running through my mind constantly. This game our front 4 on defense must get pressure and our offense...please don't come out flat. Awesome that this will be a blackout game!! haven't picked a score for this one maybe later, SIC EM DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!

Plain and simple for 2011...WIN

My biggest concern in this game is the Bama D wearing out our Offensive line. Saban will have them ready. Next is the penalties. We will not be able to make penalties and give them first downs and new life. Bama will make us pay.

So, do we win the “battle in the trenches”? Or, do we fight to a virtual draw in the trenches (perhaps even lose that battle), and compensate for it by winning other battles? Do we win the air attack battles, the special teams battles, the turnover battles, the coaching battles, the big play battles, the injury and conditioning battles, the red zone battles, etc., etc.

Only Saturday can tell for sure. Hey, you don’t think Bama is gonna hold it against us that we beat them in a last second squeeker last year on their home turf, do you?
    ;) ;) ;) ;) Dawgs win! Dawgs win! Dawgs win!!!

I know for a fact the Alabama fans are as worried as we are, all that bluster to the contrary.
I look for our best game yet.
