Up the middle.

I was listening to the radio show on georgiadogs.com and on of the fans called in to larry and cmr and he was pretty much telling cmr that he has to pass more to him. well he said \"we have to get it to our play makers like GREEN and km.\" Maybe CMR realizes that what we want (if it doesnt hurt our chance to win...like throwing a pick!)

Ok, let's do a quick team check here, with good and bad things also concerning the future:

Positives
- Offensive playmakers: Moreno, Stafford, Green and others, just incredibly talented, versatile and explosve.
- LB corps: Led by Curran, that might be one of the best in the nation. Awesome speed, great instincts and very aggressive.
- Kicking game: Mimbs is a great punter and Walsh showed off his leg today even though he missed the FG. Very important.
- Poise: Overall the entire teams seems confident, relaxed and unflappable.

Negatives:
- Offensive Line: They show up on some plays but overall they make a few too many mistakes and they have to work on their inside blocking.
- Evans: Well, he wasn't really beaten but I could see more talented teams picking on him a bit in the future.

Overall though, great effort so far and we should keep the pedal to the metal. Front four is doing a great job logging up the middle and letting the LBs make plays. On offense, with Green and Massaqoui on the outside, we should exploit the shorter routes more. Better teams will take the deep ball away eventually and Stafford should also look underneath. But man, I'm just sitting here in front of the TV, so I rather let them do their thing... GO DAWWWWWWWWGS!!!!

Actually I think the OL improved as the game ended. The defense stepped up and played one heck of a game, minus one missed assignment. A good game but we better be ready Saturday.

You forgot THE biggest negative. PENALTIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ASU scored after a 75 yard drive....we had 40 yards in penalties to GIVE them their only TD. If I remember correctly, we actually stopped them on a 3rd down in that drive and they were going to have to punt the ball but we committed a penalty to give them a 1st down.....unacceptible!!

i agree wlayton. those penalties will kill us in the long run if we dont straighten them out. but i tell you what. i am VERY impressed with Walsh. Even though he missed the fg did you see how far he kicked that. it was a 54 yrd fg and the ball hit the left post about half way up that thing. WOW! that is one strong leg and im glad he's a bulldog.
