Need Help To Watch My First Dawgs Game

Hey guys, I just joined the forum. I'm from Germany and for quite some time now I have the wish to see a live UGA game, preferrably against a strong opponent. You know, I want to experience that classic SEC atmosphere. Now in October I'm visiting my uncle in New York to see the Knicks home opener. I plan to head down to Jacksonville for the Georgia-Florida game. I would have a couple of questions and would greatly appreciate it if you could guys could help me out...

I plan to get tickets in front of the stadium. How are the chances?! And do I have to follow any unwritten rules or something?!

In my opinion the ticket scalpers will be getting $300-$400 a ticket for the cocktail party.

Depending on the ranking of the two schools at the time of the game this very well may be one of the hardest tickets to get all season. Good luck. I on the other hand plan on catching the game on a big screen in St. Simons.

Well, I started watching college football about 3 or 4 years ago when it finally got shown on european PayTV. They were mostly showing SEC games and I basically UGA. The Stadium, the fans, the uniforms, the mascot... all that stuff. And since Knowshon Moreno is wearing the Dawgs jersey I'm really following the team. He's my favorite player in college football right now and I'll be following his career from now on.
