I don't think we have a choice except to try and pound the ball like Arkansas did. We have no receivers left and AU's defensive front is good but not as big and physical as most every year. With all the receivers hurt (and they can't catch it anyway), just line up in the I-formation and pound it like Arkansas did, while mixing in a few throws etc.
I agree, but we have to try SOMETHING. We ran the ball pretty well against UT and have had some success at times during the season. BUT, the irony here is that we need to be successful throwing the ball a little to be able to run the ball......such irony.
Ah, that UT game......Believe it or not, I think the whole attitude and psyche of the team was killed in the second half of that game. We haven't been the same since the first half of that game, and our attitude and killer instinct on defense was ruined, regardless of what anyone else sez.
