Well, if you're going to endear yourself to the Dawg Nation, a 52 yd field goal is a nice how-dya-do.

"The freedom of individuals to verbally to oppose or to challenge police actions without thereby risking arrest is one of the principal characteristics by which we distinguish a free nation from a police state."

Blair Walsh looked fine. I am a little less worried about our kicking game.

Anytime a freshman can step onto the field, between the hedges, with a packed house really scoping you out, knock it through the uprights and walk off the field with a field goal over fifty, wow. . . . Some on this board know that I have been aware of Blair Walsh and his abilities, living in Florida. I keep a watchful eye on the talent in this state. Coach Richt grew up in Boca Raton and keeps a strong presence with the players from this area. Another plus for Coach Richt. First kickoff into the endzone really lit me up, that is a plus for the team, and if you noticed, he gets a lot of hang time with the kicks. When the games are played against SEC competition, we all know that three points could easily decide more than one game. I put my stock in this young man, will live and die with Blair. Just my two cents worth, glad we won the opener and look forward to the upcoming games. One last shot. . . .Suburban Crier likes those big numbers, what goes around comes around. Goooo Georgia Bulldogs . . . .

Yeah Buc, I was proud of Walsh.
Great kickers come to Georgia for a reason.
I was excited to see Joe Cox and Logan Gray light up the field. I thought they both played great. I was happy to see Logan Gray get to play. We forget how hard these kids work just to be on the sideline.
I think we might mix it up a little more on offense this year with Cox and Gray, not too much, but sometimes it works. I remember the Tennessee game in '04. David Greene had a terrible game. I felt Shockley had it going but did not get a chance. This from a huge David Greene fan. But hey, it's easy to secondguess the man in charge. I saw Greene make many a great play when the game was on the line, cool under pressure and a great Dawg.
Guess I'm rambling but cool under pressure is what we need from Walsh.
I think Stafford is dying to beat the Vols. I'm already hearing how overrated we are up here in Nashville.
GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
