What do you call a group of \"experts\"?

So, it's a \"pack\" of wolves, a \"gaggle\" of geese, and a \"pod\" of whales, right? What do you call it when a group of asshat college football analysts get together. I think the only word that fits is \"excretion\" as in \"boy, that excretion of experts sure seem to be off base this year.\" For evidence, I submit the following:

sports.espn.go.com/ncf/preview08/news/st...age=ncfpredictions08

"The freedom of individuals to verbally to oppose or to challenge police actions without thereby risking arrest is one of the principal characteristics by which we distinguish a free nation from a police state."

I was just looking at that and thinking the same thing. If being an expert means you get paid to talk out of your rear end. Where do I apply. I could do what they do. More acurately I might add.

The dissing never ends.
The coaches will use this as motivation. Donnan's still pissed because he was replaced by a better man.

I remember walking out of the Tennessee game in 2004 (another year in which we were projected to play for the national title) and some drunken idiot yelling at the top of his lungs, \"This never would have happened if Vince Dooley hadn't fired Mr. Jim Donnan!\"

I yelled back, \"Jim Donnan beat Tennessee exactly once! Mark Richt has already beaten them three times!\"

That said, no college analyst wants to appear stupid. The people who are predicting us to be out of the MNC picture are ranking our SCHEDULE, not our team. The people projecting us to play for the title are ranking our talent. Although it aggravates me, I give the analysts a pass for the most part. Like our local sports radio hero, Mark Packer, says after every upset loss in college football and basketball, \"That's the reason why we play these goofy games.\"

The only analysts I will call out right now are the ones predicting USC to even PLAY for the national title, let alone win it. One had USC beating Florida. Really? There is no possible way that USC could beat Florida in week three, let alone January 8th. Urban Meyer may be a lot of things, but with the talent depth he has and three weeks to prepare, Florida would destroy USC.

Also....you know.....GO DAWGS!!!

I think it's the mark of a gutless analyst to diss the Dawgs and their chances this year. If they're right, they can say \"See, I told you that schedule was too tough,\" and if they were wrong they can say \"well, those Dawgs sure earned it.\" It's win-win for them and means they don't have to go out on a limb and throw us a bone.
