The Next Great UGA TE--Arthur Fontaine

Sounds to me like CMR and Coach John Lilly are REAL close to receiving a verbal from one of the top TE's in the nation.

Gotta love where our program is heading from a Nt'l perspective when we are pulling in top players from the New England area.

Also, don't forget, Aaron Murray's teammate at Plant High in Tampa, FL TE Orson Charles is also considering the Dawgs. I would LOVE to see both of em' come to Athens but it may be hard to get Charles out of the state of Florida. Apparently, Charles just visited Miami and rated his visit as a 10. I got a funny feeling that having his friend and high-school QB Murray already bound for Athens might help persuade Charles to come to the Classic City as well.

Regardless, TE is a position that we need to fill w/young talent after Dwayne Allen dissed UGA for Clemson during the final hours of Nt'l Signing Day this past February and w/NeDerris Ward's unfortunate family situation which forced him to leave the team and return to the West coast.

Keep an eye on this one, I truly believe that Arthur Fontaine becomes the newest member of the Red & Black family in the next couple of days!

Does anybody else have any more info. on Arthur Fontaine or Charles Orson?

Fontaine is supposed to announce this week between UGA and Boston College. He’s from just outside of Boston. He’s a big, traditional tight end. Charles is more of the athlete, in the Randy McMichael mode. He’s not as good of a blocker/traditional tight end as Fontaine, but he’s a weapon as a receiver. He won’t announce for quite some time.
