CMR on ESPN

So Mark Richt was in the ESPN studios today. He was on The Herd with Colin Cowherd and on Tirico and Van Pelt, and I'm currently watching him on College Football Live. The great thing is watching the emails in. One said \"Why is everyone saying that Georgia won't win the SEC? You can't beat Knowshon. It's scientifically impossible.\" HA! AWESOME!

Finally, we're getting some hype from HYPEspn. Which reminds me, do NOT forget to search \"Helmet Clash\" on espn.go.com on August 4th to vote for our helmet versus the Texas A&M helmet. We beat Miami, but just barely. MORE VOTES!!!

Richt is so classy, by the way. He was so much more gracious and polite and well-spoken (and well-dressed!) than Phat Phil.

Calm, cool and collected, at least on camera....Coach Richt understands the situation we are in. There was an article in today's Banner-Herald about a FSU team that was in the same preseason situation and got blown away by Miami. Don't think for a minute Richt takes any thing for granted. We have to earn it. I think we will.
By the way, there are some cool screensavers you can download for free from the Banner-Herald. I put a very cool picture of UGA VI in his black jersey on my computer. May he rest in peace. GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did anyone see the article from Spurrior. It was in the Augusta Chronicle and he stated that his players finally look like a team. He stated that they are big, lean and strong. This is the best looking group of players he has had since at Carolina. He did not make any perdictions, but did say that this group will suprise a few people and if the dean lets Garcia come back, then look out. What do ya'll think, they return all on defense and with Brinkey back, he killed us last year. I remember going to Columbia a few years ago no 4 in nation and we got the hell beat out of us.

We have so much pressure on us this year, with all the expectations and everyone will be tring to spoil our season.

I was just wondering what you guys think and give me some of your feedback as to how you think the game will go.

Duck, make no mistake about it, the South Carolina game is going to be huge for us. A win and we have some good momentum going on the road to Tempe, a loss and any shot at winning the East will be an uphill battle. Last years game was extremely frustrating as we had it in reach but dropped multiple passes in the endzone. We also lacked the enthusiasm that got us rocked in Knoxville. However, look for a different showing this year. The Dawgs have some bulldozers on the O line that should establish the run early, require USC to stack the box with 9, and allow Stafford and our stable of quality receivers to open it up down field. CMR will fire the team up by reminding them that last years loss cost them a trip to the ATL and a possible shot at the NC. It's payback time! GO DAWGS!!
