Apparently, 441 runs through Knoxville, Athens, and Gainesville. That has to be the greatest collection of college football powers conncected by one road anywhere in the US. All 3 of the SEC East's traditional powers are on one highway.
So, I think we should start refering to the battle for the SEC East title as the Battle of 441 or Battle of College Town Road or something like that, seeing that in order to get to Atlanta, you have to beat the teams that live on 441. It would give us an analoge to something like the Tobacco Road rivalry in NC.
