Media Loves Us, Picks Florida

I think it's GREAT that they picked UF to win the SEC !!! Our guys have been reading ENOUGH about how great they are going to be, ranked #1, the team to beat etc etc. Now with this prediction, maybe it will tick them all off and put a BIG chip on their shoulders. Them being slapped in the face only gives our guys a ton of MOTIVATION......AGAIN!!!!

BTW, didn't know if this has been posted but Sturdivant and Anderson will NOT be suspended.

So we go from being ranked #1 to what #4 or #5 without ever taking the field. I want our boys lurking in the shadows and not in the spotlight. GO DAWGS!!

Actually southernlover, I think we still may come in at #1 but not predicted to win the SEC...go figure!!

I just amazes me the things the pollsters come up with. Why would they rank us as preseason #1 and not pick us to win the SEC? Last year proved that if we don't win the SEC then were not even gonna have a chance for the NC. I want to know what some of these dudes are smoking so I can go and get me some. Seems to be some pretty good stuff.

Right fire_dawg, they say our strength of schedule is why they are picking UF to win the SEC but they can STILL rank us #1......SAME schedule!! PLUS, like you said, nobody will play for the NC from our conference UNLESS they win it. How is THAT for confusion?


Guess they are simply(?) saying that they DO believe we are the best team in country but let's see how they handle the schedule.

Personally, I would prefer to be ranked 4 or 5 to take the pressure off a little. Anywhere but #2, that seems to be the ranking of death.
From the #4 or #5 splot you can battle your way to the championship. From #1 you have to fight off everyone including the media.
