Urban Meyer, in addition to writing his ego-inflating book this summer, “The Urban Way”, Meyer referred to Tim Tebow today as “the best player of our era”… Step aside Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Brett Favre… Meyer says that Tebow is better than all of you….

What a joke....

I can't stand the guy. The way he throws Tebow under the bus he'll be lucky if Superman makes it through the season.
They deserve each other.

Yes a joke indeed, when I heard this yesterday I just laughed. It is impossible to judge who is the best individual due to the fact this is a team sport, and Tebow is definitely not the best of our era. Any player in college football and most humans on earth could line up at QB and run QB sneaks over and over with 10 blockers at the goal line until he scores to rack up his stats.

With a couple of more losses to UGA does anyone want to make a wager on how long it will take the Florida faithful to run him out of Gainesville. My guess would be two......thereby never allowing Teblow a victory over the Dawgs!

What I have been absolutely loving the last few months is the host of his own radio show (and works for CBS Sportsline I think)has been saying over and over that at the next level, Tebow isn't even close to Matthew Stafford and that Stafford will be the 1st guy picked next April in the draft. Man, here in gator country, his phones light up and they can't believe he would say that about Tebow vs. MS. Oscar Meyer is a fool. I don't even think Tebow is the best player on his team, much less this season, and by no means this era. At least Meyer has a promising career as a stand-up comic if his coaching career ever ends, since his jokes are so good.
