I have read in numerous publications and heard on various sports talk shows that the Dawgs will take a loss on the Plains this year. I was in attendance at the \"Black Out\" last year and can't understand the logic behind this predicion. We throttled them between the hedges, have a lot of key starters returning on both sides of the ball. They are replacing a QB and O coordinator and are being picked early on? Is it a doldrum after our minefield schedule? I thought the visiting team had the edge in this series?

The Auburn game is always tough. I say our talent and experience wins this one. I have no doubts, however, that it will be close.

The game in Columbia worries me more than the Auburn game. I think by then the Dawgs will be rolling.

South Carolina is like Vandy. We seem to play down to their level every year.

southernlover, Auburn is always tough, they have a lot of players from the State of Georgia, and of course they seem to put in that \"extra effort\". I think that they are going to be running the same type offense that the gators are running, and if that is the case, I think we are more than ready. The speed that we have on defense negates the spread as some call it. Also, UGA is getting pretty good with the \"Tampa 2\". With our speed, we also are pretty good in the 3 man front. Heck, this defensive coach might change the thoughts I had of him after the UT game last year. Go Dawgs!

Red and Black, Win or Lose

Part of the reason they're saying that is that we haven't beaten Auburn three years running since 1980-82. Then again, we haven't had a tailback like we have now since then either, and we've NEVER had an offense like we have now. Auburn won't be ready to take us on until next year at the earliest. It'll be another blowout.
