this reminds me of willie walker
while not a uga alum he is native to athens (oglethorpe co)...he has been on espn several times boxing. he has a sizeable beer gut and a couple of years ago at 2am they had him on fighting some dude who looked like a body builder. i thought \"willie's gonna get his a$$ beat\"...not so, he clocked that dude and won the fight. I knew him before my wife and I met as he ran the gym next to a liquor store id go to on baxter. hed always ask me if I wanted to train there (im a big guy, pretty strong, and in those days i was reasonbly cut), i always asked if it was free, nope, and id be on my way.

fast forward a couple of years. my wife and i just began dating. we're downtown drinking. she walks over to the biggest scariest group of black guys in jerseys and gives the biggest one a hug. it's willie. she told me how she and willie went to HS together. much more innocent than the \"do you mind if we dance with your dates?\" scenario i had running thru my head.

on another note, some of my fd co-workers know of him from his the OC when he'd work seasonally at a deer cooler. he could pick up deer with one hand, and would often carry them one in each hand, gripped around the rib cage. his hands are that big and hes that strong.

totally unrelated i kknow...but some of the ruggers that also did mma trained w/ him and i can see him definately getting into MMA

Congratulations to Forrest for taking a unanimous decision over Rampage. Won the battle with his toughness, grit some vicious leg kicks and one hell of a chin. I've followed him ever since winning the Ultimate Fighter and always find myself cheering for the Athens boys!
