You won't believe my Father's Day. I had a stepladder buckle under me, fractured my talus, 5 hrs. of surgery. 5 stainless steel screws, a plate and a bolt later...I'm still alive and happy to be a father and an American enjoying the best health care in the world. Hopefully I'll be in Athens on Oct. 11.

averagedawg, are you KIDDING ME??? It's not April 1st is it?? Geeeez.....ouch, Ouch, OUCH!!!

I sure hope you get better fast, just unbelievable!! What a freak accident.....at least you WILL be alright. Take care of yourself, I want to see you in Athens. (for some reason I'm starting to feel some pain while SITTING here).

Serious injury averagedawg. Looks like you will be in a cast for quite a while. As we get older these types of injuries are not easily overcome. Get well, heal nicely . . . . need you for a certain game in Athens. Truly, best of luck.

Really sorry to hear that Average. We all feel for you (sort of). We hope and pray for a speedy and complete recovery!
