I read about it in the Banner-Herald today. We've lost another Georgia icon. I remember him coaching the Raiders, preMadden. My condolences to his wife and family.
Unfortunately, I'm not old enough to remember him as anything but an assistant coach in the NFL. The first coach I remember with the Raiders was Madden. All I know is what I have read in Bulldog history and seen in old film clips. Big loss.
