Regional BS

Okay, so what the hell is up with the NCAA Baseball Selection Committee? LSU is the #7 seed, and we're the #8 seed, nationally. I don't really have a problem with that, since LSU won the SEC tournament and looked better at the end of the year (having not lost a game since we beat them) than we did, if only slightly.

However, why is their regional SO much easier than ours? Here's LSU's regional:

LSU, Southern Miss, University of New Orleans, and Texas Southern.

Here's ours:

UGA, Lipscomb, Louisville (!) and Georgia Tech (!!!)

That's about a load of crap right there. Lipscomb shouldn't be too tough, but LSU doesn't have even a Louisville in their regional, let alone a Georgia Tech!

Not that I don't relish the opportunity to embarrass Tech and end their season YET AGAIN...but still. Load of crap.
