Is it too early,....

Is it too early,.... was created by NC_Dawg
to discuss 2009 recruiting and commitments?? I thought not!

Check it...In grand CMR style the 2008 LOI ink is still drying while Team Richt is busy working the wires and schools for the following year. On the burner is perhaps the most interesting and astounding news to come our way since we wrenched a certain QB from the \"other\" UT.... I'm speaking of a QB recuit that is labeled to best QB in the state of Florida, namely Aaron Murray, who set to announce his decision on Thursday. Insiders say he's a DAWG!!!! This, if true, could spell acknowledgement of the tide turning and place a certain school, south of the boarder, on notice!!!

MASH IT:

GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!

NC_Dawg, Murray is the real deal. My guy says he's the best QB prospect EVER at UGA besides Zeier and Stafford (about 6'1\", very athletic, can run, has a gun for an arm, is very smart and a great leader). Some inside info from the school leaked out last week (a teacher) that he was coming to UGA, others have said that he is a lock to UF (he's Urban Meyer's #1 recruit). He is also interested in UCLA with Neuheisel and Norm Chow being there but really think it's between UF and UGA. Hope for the best!!

No doubt this young man is a quality football player. Also has the values that CMR and company tend to look for. The following is a run down of the game between Plant and Armwood. Just posting it for general information.

If Aaron Murray looks closely at UF, he will see that the QB pecking order is a long one. Tebow, Cam Newton and John Brantley. Might get a shot playing QB his senior year. . . .

wlayton, you living in Florida, like myself, know that there are some tremendous high school football teams in the state. After Armwood dismantled Plant, they went on to play Booker T from Miami and were beaten 34-14.

Personally, I hope that UGA does take Murray. He, individually is a tremendous talent. FSU wants this young man's signature on a scholarship offer real bad. It just goes to show again that it is not the individual, it is the team concept that wins titles.

Again it speaks to CMR having a long and successful stay in the state. Him growing up in Boca Raton and playing football there and coaching at FSU, just really gives UGA an advantage over many schools that so heavily recruit in this state. CMR is a pain in the bottom for many of the coaches in Florida and from out of state. He has the ability and motivation to recruit successfully in Georgia, but also has the admiration of the folks in Florida. Good example of him being able to find and successfully recruit a top QB, look no further than the starter for the Red and Black. Murray is definitely a talent.

Yes, my insider guy REALLY likes this kid....says he's the real deal. Reminds him of Charley Ward but with a bigger arm (because very smart and great leader).
