Ridin' Dawgs

The Georgia Equestrian team will participate in the Varsity Equestrian National Championships on Wednesday night, going for our third national championship. Wish our Ridin' Dawgs luck, as they've already won the Southern Equestrian championship (equivalent of a conference championship) this year.

We have a riding team?

Yes, and in their first two years of existence they won the VENCs. It's nice to start off with a winning tradition.

Quick update: Georgia's Western EQ team has advanced to the finals, while our Hunt Seat team lost by a slim seven-point margin to Texas A&M. However, with the strong third-place showing by Hunt and our Western team so strong, we are, according to georgiadogs.com, in a \"commanding position\" to claim our third overall National Championship at the VENCs. Kudos to our Hunt Seat team, and keep rooting for our Western Dawgs! Sic 'em!
