UGA/UF SHOWTIME

Interesting day, 4/12/2008. ESPN chose to televise the Florida ending to spring football. Makes me wonder as to why ESPN chose Florida to show nation wide. (Must be a conspiracy).

At this point, must put my two cents worth in . . . . Florida is looking forward to Jacksonville and UGA. Florida has some fine football players, but I do believe that 2007 and the \"gathering\" in the end zone put a serious amount of doubt in their minds. Believe me, they are looking toward Jacksonville and UGA. I love it . . . let us see what happens to Florida before and after UGA.

Florida has a schedule that gives them room to \"wait for the Dawgs.\" The current football team at UGA is coached by not one, but several coaches that are aware of what happened \"last year\" and what to look forward to \"this year.\"

Today watching the Florida QB, was not impressed. He is a fine human being, but . . . if I was drafting for a professional team, no doubt in my mind that Stafford would be my pick at QB. I realize that is the difference in pro and college, different styles make a difference. If UGA can catch the ball, and Stafford can be on the money for more than 60 percent, folks we have a very good football team. I understand that UGA is RUNNING BACK USA.

There is no doubt in my mind that we have a very difficult schedule, but champions rise to the occasion, and I think that we have a group of champions.

Will end with this for now, this UGA defense is going to be awesome, and I truly believe awesome. Incredible speed. Tebow will be dinking and dumping to the backs . . . . reason for that will be the speed of UGA's defense.

Know that there are others on our schedule . . . just be ready for this bunch. . . . Go UGA.

That made my day. That means that, for the first time in a decade and a half, Florida is SCARED, really truly SCARED of us. And there's nothing I love more than that.

Can't wait, I just hope that Mr. Toilet bowl is \"healthy\" so we when make gator stew out of him, they won't have NOTHING to fall back on as to why we beat the DAWG crap out of them!! Then they will know who the real SEC powerhouse is!

i actually watched the college football final last night and our good friends dorko and blurbstreet had the stupidest comments. when asked who is the best team in the sec, the first answer was Georgia as being the best, but they both said i think florida will win this. the gator fans even booed them when they said that, you can smell the fear. only on person stuck with uga all the way. all of those dorks said we will be the best team, but how in the hell does the best team lose to teabag and the gaytors. i honestly do not see it happening, the defense is still to suspect. it was a high scoring gae where uga was a defensive show for the most part. our starters still found a way to pick our own defense apart. ESPN just loves to lick teabag's teeballs!!!

Good info. in your post & what's new. The ESPN clowns love some Florida & hate some Georgia. I've spent a good deal of time on Nt'l sports sites lately & a lot of folks are picking UGA to win it all but just as many are picking Florida to beat UGA and win the SEC. I think the UF pick is viewed as the safer pick because of our pathetic record against the Gators for the past 18 years. Regardless, who cares what they think (other than Tebow's mommy); I for one don't think that a rivalries history has the slightest impact on the game once the players buckle up the chin straps & the hitting begins.
