Looked around and did not see this in any of the mullet wrappers, if so, sorry. Good read, heavy stuff coming from CMR and others.

Good & exciting stuff indeed Buc. I was looking at the UGA OL depth chart over on georgiadogs.com earlier this week & when I saw big Anderson's measurements, I just thought, wow, if the kid has any talent, w/that kind of raw size, he could be a great one. I know our team (and this Dawg fan as well) is REALLY gonna miss Fernando Velasco. He was w/o a doubt the Senior leader of our young OL last year & you could clearly see him take control of the linemen even from my upper level seats.

Question for the forum, how good do you think the OL will be in 08? I personally think they're gonna be darn good, even great, but I do worry a bit about the two voids left behind by Velasco: The crucial Center position & the lack of Senior leadership.
GO YOU BIG HAIRY DAWGS!!!

Somebody will step up. I remember I felt the same way when Nick Jones left and this inexperienced kid named Fernando Velasco moved to center. That actually turned out all right. Stacey Searels will have these kids ready.

The OL will be better than last year's. By the middle of the season, they even might be scary (assuming not many injuries. Loved Velasco but like dapolla said, someone will take the lead....bunch of talent on the OL guys!!

Did any of y'all read the AJC this morning about the strength of schedule in the SEC East? We are ranked #1 for the toughest schedule in the East, and we likely have the toughest in the confrence. We will also be in the top 3-5 for the toughest schedule in the nation. If we run the table with this schedule, there should be no doubt that UGA deserves a title shot. We can probably even afford to lose to SEC West LSU to get there, but we cannot lose to UF. UGA vs UF winner will represent the East in the SEC title game. On another note, CMR said in the AJC that practice yesterday was the worst one all spring.

One college football analyst ranked UGA's schedule as THE toughest in the country.
