SEC National Champions

i agree, the BCS should install a playoff. The Sec will unlikely have an undefeated season every year, and teams like West Virginia in easy conferences and easy schedules will. Those teams get high rankings for beating the piss out of unranked teams when sec teams loss to top ranked teams by one score or so. It's unfair that west virginia would get a igher ranking. That's why they need a playoff, to see who's the real best.

Until teams like Michigan, Ohio State, and USC start accepting challenges like the recent one to be Georgia's '12th' opponent for next season, it will never happen. The bottom line... and everyone knows it...is that the SEC and BIG 10 have always been, and always will be the top conferences in the nation...THUS WHY WE MATCH UP IN SO MANY BOWL GAMES AT THE END OF THE SEASON...AND WIN ALL THE REST AT A MINIMAL VERSUS OTHER CONFERENCES. Tell those peabody's from SoCal to get their Yankee butts down Between the Hedges, or the Swamp, or the Plains...and don't even give me the argument how they played Tennessee a few years back when Tennessee was sorry...win or lose (I don't even remember who won...I just know that the Vols were sorry).
The problem is that the BCS doesn't listen too closely to guys like Kent Herbstreet, Lee Corso, or Todd Blackledge...I BELIEVE THEY WILL ALL SAY THE SEC IS THE TOUGHEST MOST YEARS.
More proof...EVEN THE COACHES HAVE MORE COMMON SENSE THAN COMPUTERS AND VEGAS IDIOTS...UGA actually came back into the top 25 in the Coaches poll...because on any given week...playing Vandy and Miss State can be just like playing UGA, FLA, LSU, or AUB! GO DAWGS!
On a final note...I've been out here in the Navy for 7 years now, and THESE SO CAL FOLKS DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT ITS LIKE TO PARTY AND PULL FOR THEIR TEAMS LIKE WE DO IN THE SOUTH!!!!

Why can't there be a playoff like basketball? I understand that it wouldn't be a good idea to do so many teams like basketball, but at least get the conference champs or at least the top 5 teams.
