DawgDoc, so many memories from Columbus, Georgia. As a young sprout can remember going to Memorial Stadium and the surrounding area. That is where the county/state fairs were when I was a youngster. Cotton candy and people on the flying trapeze, lions and tigers in cages, that sort of thing. WWII came to a close, and of course Fort Benning played a huge part in that part of our lives. I agree with you and wlayton about keeping the game in JAX, would rather kick their butts in \"South Georgia\" than Atlanta. Have a friend in my area that was born and raised in JAX, never let him breathe when we are tipping a few. Remind him that he grew up in South Georgia (JAX). All in good fun. Hips don't allow me to play with the two iron anymore, but golf has been a huge part of my life. Enjoy your occasional posts, I bow to my senior.
