Comfort from a Gator Fan

My only complaint about Richt is that he does not get excited enough. He's a great coach but way to calm. I want to see him get pi**ed-off! I agree with you about the attitude and motivation factor. And yes, just ask 'Noles fans if they miss Richt. They were the most winningest team of the 90's (then Nebraska and then the Gators). After Richt left, they fell from the elite.

Oh, I know how much they miss him. I live here, and hear them bitching after every loss, sub-par performance, bad offensive stat, etc. On that note, how unfair is it that the people down here want Bobby Bowden's head on a pole? The man built the progran, for pete's sake! FSU was nothing before he got here! Although I ain't an FSU fan, I still respect what Coach Bowden has done, and it's incredibly unfair that he is being treated like this by the very people who thought he walked on water only a few years ago.

gator fan i really thank u for ur words of confidence and also i respect u for coming into hostle territory and being such a class act and i agree with you and as for last year it was only 4 points and dj was hurt. stand up guy i just wish the tenn fans minus a few were like that.and spead the word that we want a playoff.

I knew it would be close and if I never saw the game and only the final score, I'd be thrilled to death but.........

I thought it was sloppy except for the Gators defense and special teams.
Gators offense needed lots of help (the Gators receivers dropped a lot of passes too). Swapping QB's is just plain stupid! If you want to play Tebow for a whole quarter or even series, so be it but in and out, in and out is dumb and just asking for mistakes.

I give Stafford his props. It's a lot to ask a freshman QB to win a game by himself. If your guards don't pick up the blocks, your receievers are slower that the DBs and then can't catch when they do get the ball, what else can you do? He showed patience and poise. He'll be force to be reckoned with next year, and the next and the next.

I'll be pulling for UGA against Kentucky and predict a win.
