Forget all this worst loss in UGA history crap. What was our biggest margin of victory? I think it was a 75-0 win over UF back in the 40s whenever we had Frankie Sinkwich and Charlie Trippi in the backfeild. Although I dont remember the specifics of that game, I think it's accurate. I also remember our greatest margin of victory over GT.....51-7 in 02. They are STILL bitching over that one over at the North Ave. Trade School. Speaking of which, I still have noticed an absense of Tech people since they were schooled last weekend by Clemson.

75-0 is correct. My father sat through the whole game and told me there was a UF fan holding up $100 bills, begging UGA fans to bet him on the game (and MANY did). UGA kicked a field goal on their 1st drive and went up 3-0. The story goes, the UF fan (who was extremely plastered), passed out after the score was 3-0 and didn't wake up until after the game was over ( still plastered) and people were filing out of the stadium. He thought he had lost all those bets 3-0. Dad said it was hilarious. Also, remember in 1968 when UGA beat the gators 52-0 in a huge rain storm?

Help me out on that one, I remember Bill Stanfill talkin about taking Stevie to the woodshed the year he got the Heisman, was that the game? During the game Stanfill asked Spurrier if he had stepped on his skirt, after he hit Spurrier and Stevie whined the the refs for a late hit.

Nah, I think this 75-0 win was back in the 1940's. I was but a child in 68, when the dawgs won 52-0 in the rain, and my favorite win over UF was in 1983. What time is it in Gainsville in 1983? 10 to 9, baby! Same time as it was in the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 1st, 1984......

oledawg, the game with Stanfill and Spurrier you are referring to, I believe, was in 1966 when Spurrier won the Heisman and the Dawgs whipped them good!!! I was at that game as a kid.

Correct....it was 1966. Spurrier only has one win over UGA as a player....in 1965.
