Coach Richt . . . Valuable in Many Ways

Probably a lot of you have watched this video. If not, this will just bolster the reason that Coach Richt is such a plus for our school. The hiring of Coach Lilly will really help with the recruiting in Florida, another feather in the cap of Coach Richt and UGA. Don't know if this will be allowed, but if it is, just imagine this young man on kickoff and punt returns. I am biased, but this young fellow is outstanding. I think Carlton Thomas just BROKE MY ANKLES by watching those cutbacks...talk about turning on a dime...talk about BIG PLAY ability...this kid could take a bunch of Stafford check down throws from out in the flats and run a LONG way w/o much help from his blockers...Thanks Buc!

Thinking about some of these backs that are at UGA and the incoming group gave me pause to think. I don't know that I really gave Coach Searels the credit he was due. Just like offensive linemen, little acknowledgments go their way, seems to be the same with offensive line coaches. Coach Searels did what I think was a masterful piece of work. Coming here, not really having the \"acknowledged\" talent that some of the other schools had on their offensive lines. At the end of the year, watching these guys, would not trade a single one of them for another player. Coach Searels, in my mind probably had the best results from his coaching efforts as compared to other position coaches. Hate to say this, but this guy, with the talent he has now and the results that can probably be expected, is going to have a lot of schools looking closely at him. Coach Richt just keeps pulling in the good guys.

Yep, lock him up for a few years with a good pay raise.

My brother's a good friend of Coach Searels. He's a great coach and a class act. Man, am I excited about our team.
