This year I'm trying a change of pace.

:roll: :roll: :roll: Hey NC Dawg,I' heading up your way this year instead of heading to Amelia Island. Decided to head to Cashiers, NC for a little golf and watch the Dawgs on TV. Only two and a half hours from Atlanta sure beats the 6 or 7 hour drive to Amelia. Only problem is I have to bring my own adult beverages, as that part of NC is dry. The change of venue may bring us some luck, since nothing else has helped. I would just like the Dawgs to play a complete game one time this year and I'm hoping it will be against the Gators. As most of the posters on the board have said, this has been a disappointing season. We like to point fingers at the players, coaches, the plays called, the intensity of the defense, the concentration of our receivers, the way the wind is blowing and the lenght of the grass in the stadium. It's just a year when nothing is going right and everybody is fair game. Come on Dawg fans let's keep the faith. Even a blind hog gets lucky and finds an acorn. We will win a game we are not supposed too.

For a great beer store, run up the mountain to highlands and right there on the corner in downtown highlands is a little convenience store with the most amazing beer selection from all over the world.

You'll be about a week late for the leaf peak, but there should still be plenty of color. Friday may bring some snow to the higher elevations, otherwise cold, raw and rainy. Saturday will be clear but COLD!!!! Hope you enjoy your stay!!!!!

Like yourself, I'll be glued to the TV, hoping for the best and bracing for the worst. I had my concerns going into this season and am old enough to realize that with every hill, there is a valley to follow. CMR will work out the bugs, perhaps bring in some new blood and we will soon be back at the top. Regardless to this seasons downturn, it sure beats the Goff/Donnan years!!!!!!!!!!!!!
