Damn Damn Damn

So the Gym Dawgs beat Arkansas -- ranked 11th in the country, by the way -- but in the process Courtney Kupets hurt her Achilles. According to Jay Clark, our assistant coach, the Gym Dawgs are going on as if she's lost for the season. This REALLY hurts our chances of going 4 in a row, as Courtney Kupets is an Olympic medalist and one of our finest competitors. Luckily, Georgia is extremely deep and we can almost -- ALMOST -- accurately fill her spot. Big loss, though, and I don't like it.

If she \"popped\" her achilles, she's DONE. Easily a year of rehab. If strained, then a different story, depends on the severity. Bad break but hopefully they can still pull it out.

When I saw Damn, Damn, Damn, I thought about last night's loss to the Vols. What a drag.

It is too bad dapolla. Read about it this morning. That is a tough sport and it does not take a lot to pull, sprain or break the body parts. Swimming and Gymnastics, grueling sports, not a lot of rewards, other than self satisfaction and building a sound body. Wishing CK and the UGA team well.
