Can you tell me what is the usual attendance? And is it difficult to get tickets to the G-day game?

DawgSpeare, tickets are still available at georgiadogs.com ($5 for adults, $3 for youth). I'm not certain on this but I believe avg. G-day attendance is usually btw. 20k - 30k, which should make for an easy ticket.

I am expecting a larger than normal crowd this year w/the huge preseason expectations but that's just me speculating. I personally am planning on attending for the 1st time ever in order to ward off the long offseason blues & see what some of our newest Dawgs look like on the field. Ahhh yes, one more Sat. afternoon in Athens, GA, my little piece of heaven on earth!

Goose is correct, it's usually 20-25M people and you will be able to walk up and buy a ticket at the stadium. Always an enjoyable day, usually pretty weather and easy to get a great seat. Expect to have a blast and PRAY nobody gets seriously hurt!!!

I'm all for it Sadler! Myself and 1-3 other dawg fans will be there. I booked a room at the Holiday Inn just yesterday & ordered 4 tickets this morning. Anyways, I missed the meeting time at the UK game this past season & am still kicking myself for it. Let's figure out a time & place as G-day nears and try to get a bunch of folks from this forum on board.

Hey, isn't seating on a 1st come 1st serve basis so we could all possibly watch the game together? Regardless, just let me know if I am looking for sadlerdawg wearing a fumanchu or not come April 5th? I actually have got some moustache/goatee action going on myself right now for the winter months but it might be gone by G-day?

Yeah Goose.....it's \"have at it\" seating. Wherever you want. (except they use to block one side of the stadium)
