Shelling it Out For The Dawgs

Just an alert: ticket prices will this year go from $32 to $40, with single-game tickets going for $45, according to georgiadogs.com. The ticket increase (the first since 2002) will go to pay for an expansion to the Butts-Mehre facilities -- you know, that indoor practice facility Richt has wanted so badly. Hey, I'll shell it out to help my Dawgs. It doesn't mean I'll be happy about it, but I'll do it.

As expensive as my weekend travel to Athens is, another $16.00 (for 2 tickets)is a complete moot point.

Anyone think that the prices will go back down after the expansion to the facilities is completed?......yeah right

Why \"shell\" it for the Dawgs, when you can watch the same game on a wide screen HD TV? I don't know about your den, but mine is air conditioned for those hot September Saturdays. Cold drinks are close at hand also. Guess that's what happens when you get \"long in the tooth.\" You'll enjoy yours and I'll enjoy mine.
