He's visiting UF this weekend (or next), followed by visiting UGA the following weekend. Neither school has any scholarships left but my understanding is that UGA told him to take his time so they may have a scholarship free up for him. Hunter wants to stay near his hometown now.

There's always those few recruits who fail to qualify academically to get into UGA too, so a spot may open up for him

on that note, DeAngelo Tyson qualified to get in so thats a needed big man that we now have. I think if the dawgs were to pick up Omar it would be bigger than just having him play between the hedges. UGA has had a history of having trouble recruiting kids out of Buford High for one reason or another, Mikey Henderson being the exception, so to pick up a highly touted player such as Hunter could help a few years from now recruiting

You never know what thier high school coaces tell the players either, they could be anti-uga fans. Believe it or not, but it happens.

I heard he cancelled his visit to Athens next weekend and that he's 95% a gator (visited Gainesville last weekend, I think).
