CMR in it for the long haul......

CMR in it for the long haul...... was created by southernlover
While I was at home over the holidays, it gave me great pleasure to learn that Coach Richt was building a new lake house right down the street from my best friends parents and not very far(by water) from my mothers house. Driving back to Jax later that week, I heard an interview on Rivals Radio where Coach Richt was stating that he enjoyed, not only for himself but his assistant coaches and their families, the piece of mind that comes with knowing that they will have some sense of stability in their lives. Fast forward to yesterday, there was an article in the AJC about the lack of coaching turnover at UGA and how it could almost certainly be a factor in the apparently awesome recruiting that has been taking place in Athens.

And for the first time in 2008, GO DAWGS!!!

southernlover, STABILITY, starts at the top. CMR is certainly on the top. Cannot say enough about MR and his PRINCIPLES. Actually enjoying the FLASH that he is showing now. UGA is as different as night and day with Mark Richt at the helm. Some came and went, Mark and his family (includes coaches) are here to stay. Even the hedges seem to be greener . . . hmmmm. Go Dawgs!

I have to admit the Dawg nation is really lucky we got such an outstanding and stand-up coach like Richt.

I hope he stays as long as Paterno at PSU.

Coach Richt's certainly the cream of the crop. Of course fans are fickle, I remember the grumblings here after the Tn. loss. We should all remember, myself included, that even the great ones, Dooley, Bryant, etc. all had down years.

I never called out CMR after Tenn. Although I was pretty outspoken about WM. :S I now know why I sit at home and watch the games on TV instead of being on the sidelines calling the shots. I admit I don't know jack about coaching. Fortunately, CMR and WM do.

Go Dawgs!!!!
