Apparently, UGA's game against Arizona State in Tempe next season will be the first time in 23 years that Georgia has played a football game (including bowl games) outside of the south.
And that assumes you don't consider Texas to be the south (we played the Sun Bowl in El Paso, TX in 1985).
If you count Texas as the south, Georgia has not played a game outside the south since 1965, when it won over Michigan in the Big House.
