Gators DE says Goodbye Gainesville, Hello NFL

Florida DE Derrick Harvey will forgo his Senior seasons and enter the NFL Draft. Harvey was a real beast for the Gators during the 06' season with 11 sacks & 35 tackles along w/winning Defensive MVP in the BCS Title Game against the Buckeyes. This season, Harvey recorded only 6.5 sacks & 34 tackles, I'm guessing he faced lots of double teams. Still, I think the loss of Harvey will really hurt the Gators since their D was already suspect even with Harvey in the lineup.

Cornelius Ingram is leaving also.

They will be missed but Aaron Hernandez will replace C.I. at Tight End and Hernandez is a beast and the only 5 star tight end coming out of high school last year.
