A \"naysayer\" in my EXTENDED family always chooses to pull for everyone playing against UGA. He graduated from FSU and has jumped on the UF bandwagon. Never, NEVER does he admit any type of defeat with our wins. However, after the Sugar Bowl Stomping, even HE has conceded and predicted UGA to be the National Title holder next year...actually he thinks (as do I) for at least the next TWO years. Looks like there are some hard-headed GA haters tipping their hats to us and finally giving us some of the respect we deserve. However, there are still some left who couldn't tell their rear from a hole in the ground that will continue on their journey of undermining the Dawgs!
I raise my glass to the Dawgs Class of '07-'08 and show my enthusiasm for an unbelieveable season coming up! I, for one, can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

I know how you feel miss_uga. My brother went to Bama, lives in Athens and his kids went to Georgia. He knows a lot of the athletic dept. guys and is slowly coming around, except when we play Bama. His kids and I give him hell.
My daughter goes to UNC, which I have to tolerate. She's my clone when it comes to watching Carolina basketball. We're afraid to be around her when things aren't going well.

Hey Buc, I feel good about the Dawgs handling the pressure next year. IMO, I thought they had a TON of pressure on them in the Sugar Bowl.

To me \"pressure\" is at it's highest when you have to perform at the top of your game when you have absolutely nothing to gain and EVERYTHING to lose....as was the case against UH. If we had lost that game, UGA might have NEVER gotten any respect in the future, would have been a huge MEDIA setback for UGA. Very impressive handling that magnitude of pressure.

wlayton, real pressure is when the Dawgs don't come through . . . then we have to wait for you to come around . . . just kidding of course . . . you and averagedawg really wear UGA on your sleeves, and I for one think that is a good thing. . . .Remember the first of the season, and I forget who it was that posted here, but the comments were about the speed of this squad. Maybe dapolla, you or sadlerdawg, anyhow, I marveled at the speed and quickness of the Dawgs in the sUGAr Bowl. In all of my years of watching UGA, I have never seen a team more prepared. I will be the first to admit, I had some worries about the Warriors and their passing game, but I have been know to be a worrywart . . .Happy New Year All . . .Go Dawgs!

I'm with you Buc. We both come from the Vince Dooley School of Worry, all the while we feel we are going to win if we play like we know we can play. I don't think I have ever been anymore nervous before a game like I was against UH. Nothing to gain and everything to lose.....I was plum nauseated before and during the 1st qtr...relaxed after that....a little!! Guess I also wanted the win and a BIG win for Mr. AINA after all his insults to many of us on OUR forum.

Yes, speed, speed and more speed and next year we will have even more with C King, AJ Green and Troupe. Man, great to be a Dawg isn't it!!!!!!!!!
