Huge National Exposure

Reading the AJC and news reports this morning, seems as if Hawaii fans are being asked to wear white in support of their team. UGA in black and Hawaii in white, this Sugar Bowl is really going to get a lot of coverage during the upcoming bowls. This is going to be a huge tool for the recruiting wars that will follow this game and, the upcoming battles for top players around the country. I really like MR's approach to keeping our Georgia players in the state. It has paid off handsomely for UGA. This particular game can and will open up an even larger recruiting base for the Dawgs. Just reflecting, don't pay too much attention to an old fart, looking down the road to the continued success of our beloved DAWGS. Also, Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays to one and all.

Yep this entire season has been great to recuiting....Look at how many young guys were starters and the ones that didn't get redshirted all got alot of playing time compared to other schools. As well as Coach Richt's involvement with the team this year, I can imagine his involvement with recruiting trips and home visits to players was great too. I don't know why any recruit would want to go anywhere but UGA, after seeing the season we had this year, and the ones that didnt get to follow the dawgs will get plenty of insight over the next few weeks and especially during the Sugar Bowl....Also, one of the greatest accomplishments by this team is that none of the players are academically ineligable and I think the new rules by AD Evans had something to do with that.

Yeah, I've been getting sick of hearing \"hawaii this, hawaii that\" every time I turn on the TV. But, the good thing about it is it's drawing more interest to the game, and will make it that much sweeter when we stomp a mudhole in their @$$es.
