Bowl Game: Whichever one takes the worst bowl-eligible SEC team (ie after Tennessee, Florida, Auburn, Arkansas, and LSU have been selected). Something like the Independence, Music City, or Liberty.
The only good thing about the bowl we'll be going to is that it will most likely match us up against one of the traditional Big 12 powers that's having a sub-par year this year. I would not mind seeing Georgia vs Oklahoma in the Independence Bowl, for example. Since they have 2 losses and just lost Peterson, they'll probably end up in one of the bowls that pits an inferior Big 12 team against an inferior SEC team.
That being said, we're going to lose our bowl game too for a final record of 7-6.
That's what's going to happen.
Here's what the optimistic-out-of-touch-with-reality-it-ain't-over-till-its-over Dawg fan in me says is going to happen.
Tennessee stumbles and loses back-to-back games against LSU and Arkansas and the Dawgs beat Florida in the Swamp and Auburn at Jordan-Hare and go on to defeat Arkansas in the SEC Championship game.
A reinvigorated Bulldog team meets the undefeated West Virginia Mountaineers in the Sugar Bowl, who feel snubbed because they were leaped in the BCS standings despite finishing the regular season undefeated.
Georgia takes vengeance upon them and all is well in the Bulldog nation as the Dawgs finish 12-2 with an SEC title, a Sugar Bowl Victory, and a top 10 ranking.
