Re:Plaza Level Tickets For Face Value!

Well thanks for \"welcoming\" me to your fan board. All I wanted to do was HONESTLY sell the tickets I bought. I shouldn't have tagged it \"Face Value\" because, as I have learned from a very CLASSY UGA fan, that in fact, I did not buy them for face value, that I was ripped off by a ticket broker. I feel bullied, and slightly embarassed (even sitting behind my computer) because I came here to do someone a favor, because MAYBE, just MAYBE, they wanted to see their football team destroy Hawaii and I could possibly help them acheive that goal.

I did not know that people actually had the time to critique my post and to make me feel guilty/sorry for actually showing up here to sell my tickets. I didn't come here to talk smack or do anything tasteless, I came here to sell tickets to a football game and was bullied. Idiocracy at its best on this fanboard. Thanks again.

Just because you got ripped off on the tickets doesn't mean we want to get ripped as well by bailing you out.

Jeez Caitlin, please lighten up dear & don't take MY rant as a representation of the entire Dawgs Forum. I said I believed you, AFTER you clarified where you bought your tickets from. I was just trying to inform you of the meaning of Face Value. Lots of folks use the term face value on mistake to mean, as you did, the price they paid for the tickets (It's just a pet-peeve of mine; I realize now that I came off way too harsh). As for the ticket brokers comment, obviously that only MY opinion of em' but unfortunately for true fans, brokers have lots of buying power and they always end up w/the lion's share of the available tickets and make their profits off of fans like you & I.
Anyways, I'm not trying to make you feel bad, ashamed, or embarrassed & I'm truly sorry for making you feel that way. I'm sure that Admin pulled your post off because they don't allow for people to sell tickets on this site, which you didn't know; no harm on your part. Again, I meant you no disrespect, but I didn't want others to be mislead as to what these tickets originally cost. I was looking for my tickets online yesterday & I'm sure that you can sell those good seats you have for at least (if not more) than what you paid for em' on either e-bay or craigslist. Best of luck to you! Please don't feel bad! Lastly, I will indeed extend to you a sincere welcome to this forum if you want to hang around & chat with overzealous fans like myself.
