It makes you realize what an awesome job Coach Richt has done. I think next year is his best year yet. He's finally letting our kids have fun and God, are we loaded!

Gaaah, this isn't formatting correctly. Anyway, from 1980 to 1997 we had the AP and UPI polls.
1998 began the BCS polls.
In 2000, the USA poll began and the UPI was dropped.
In 2005, the Harris poll began.

Thanks guys.
My point was going to be that the Dawgs may und up this year the highest ranked since 1980.
What a great season! Even with no rings.
By the way GooseDawg, the '02 UF vs. UGA game is on my short list of all time favorite Gator wins. It had to do with all the smack I received leading up to it. The Gators were like wounded prey as they were the weakest Gator team of the last 15 years and the best Dawg team in the past 15 years was hungry, powerful and pay-back minded. The Dawgs were going to unleash terror!
Not to be.

GatorinGA, we were ranked 3rd at the end of 2002, and yes that was our highest EOS ranking since the 1980 Championship.
The sickening thing about that is that we should have finished the year ranked second. What are you talking about, Miami LOST THE GAME and they still got ranked #2 at the end? That's a pile of horse manure!

Go Dawgs!!!!

I have come to the harsh realization that the media hates the Dawgs for some reason. It seems to me that when the Dawgs do well we rarely get any respect. I think the only way the Dawgs are going to gain the respect they deserve is by going on a campaign and crushing all opponents by at least 3 TDs. Then maybe the Dawgs might get some respect.
What really chaps my hide is the fact that teams like USC and Ohio St. get the benefit of the doubt and are media darlings. They can do no wrong in the eyes of the poll voters. Granted they have won more championships than the Dawgs have but in the case of USC I believe in the past decade the Pac-10 has been the weakest Ive ever seen it.

There is video on ESPN.com where Mark Richt is defending the Dawgs, and the reporter calls him \"Mike\" Richt. What crap. She didn't even bother to get his name right, and why should she? It's just the Georgia Bulldogs...crap. How disrespectful.
