#5. Whining about your team not being picked for a better bowl than the one it is playing in.

It was greatly disturbing to me to read the whining in the AJC this morning. It was very un-HCMR-like.

#1. Calling your opponent a \"glorified high school team\". It will always get you beaten.

It seems both apply to our bowl situation. Playing in the Sugar Bowl is far better than playing in the Independence Bowl, and Hawaii has won 12 games. You don't win 12 games by sucking. Don't tell me about their schedule blah blah blah, our schedule blah blah blah. Mediocre teams lose a game or two or three in a 12 game schedule regardless of their schedule. They deserve respect and the Dawgs had better get their minds right.

I LOVE IT RxCowboy, well said: The BCS is BS, and we all know it! That said, UGA is the ONLY team who gets to play against a 0 loss team in the Bowls. Sure it's a 0 loss team from a SUPERWEAK conference but it's a 0 loss team nonetheless. All we can do now is hand Hawaii their 1st loss of the season, hopefully in blowout fashion, and look forward to handling our SEC business better than we did this year, in 2008!

Ask Oklahoma about playing the WAC champs in a BCS bowl. All I heard last year from my friends who are OU fans is about how Boise State was a glorified high school team. That is until Boise State whipped them.

There have been so many upsets this year that if you haven't learned the lesson that every opponent needs to be taken seriously, then, well, maybe you just ain't teachable.

Forget about what what ifs and coulda-shoulda-wouldas. We have a game to play and a team to beat. Right now absolutely nothing else matters other than beating Hawaii, and it ain't going to be easy.

Lets not forget how Oklahoma felt when they had to play lowly Boise State last year.
