wlayton, watching MUSH MOUTH HOLTZ this morning on ESPN. He was trying to get a point across about who is \"REALLY\" number two. As always his brain left him about mid-way through the sentence. Think that they have a facility for him away from the broadcasting booth . . . . white coat and all.

My counter point to the pundits would be this . . . . If we are going to say who is number two in the BCS system . . . use the same formula for NUMBER ONE. Anyone in their right mind that can truthfully say they think that THE Ohio State University can match up and beat . . . UGA, LSU, USC, OU or UF is missing a beat. All I am saying is, don't bring up the who is #2 in this mess . . .ask the question WHO IS TRULY NUMBER ONE. If you can truthfully say OSU, I have some land here in Florida for sale, and I hope you are the first bidder. Go UGA!

I am a livid Georgia fan, but i know the BCS it will screw us over because we didnt go to the SEC championship, and if we do go.. and win then everyone will say well thats BS because they didnt win the SEC, well winning the SEC isnt easy because it is one of the hardest confrences in the country if not the hardest. But i'll take a championship any time even if everyone does say that is was a BS national championship not a BCS national championship.

What the voters need to ask themselves is this...If the season played out exactly the same way with one exception---That UGA was NOT in a conference---would they put them in the NC game? If they answered yes, IMO, they are compelled to put them in since the \"winning the conference\" argument is NOT a rule. They should not be penalized for it, since it isn't, and never has been, a requirement to play for the NC.

I go out and tie one on last night. Wake up and find out that Uof M lost and WVU lost. Wow. This is some wierd stuff. I do agree with you guys though. The real question should be, is OSU really #1.

Great point sadlerdawg! you should send that argument to espn. just imagine if ND was in our situation.
