Georgia is holding steady in the annual value rankings released by Forbes. Each year the magazine ranks how much the top programs in Division I-A are worth. This year, like last, Georgia finished third. According to Forbes, Georgia's program is worth $90 million. That's up from $84 million last year.
Notre Dame and Texas led the list just like last season. The SEC has eight in the top 20 with Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Kentucky and
Mississippi State missing the cut.
The Big Ten has five teams with Michigan leading the way at $85
million. The Big 12 has four teams in the top 20 — Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Texas A&M. The Pac-10 has two teams in the
top 20 — Southern Cal and Washington.
