Peace to Dr. Cade. In reading the article about how he invented Gatorade it reminded me of how we used to suffer at football practices from thirst. This was before Gatorade and before the concept of the need to replenish fluids. The coaches considered thirst a part of the necessary suffering to get in shape for the season.

I hope Florida will play Illinois in a bowl game, with Zook having recruited many of the existing players and that Georgia will play in the Tostida Bowl which is near where i am this winter.
Regardless, I know georgia will get a good bowl bid.

Hey DawgSpeare, I, too, remember those 95 degree days where we got NO water during practice and only one 5 minute break to eat a piece of ice. And the coaches kept wondering why our captain had to go to the hospital 3 years in a row for dehydration. Lucky nobody died.
