The worst case for us is to end up in the Orange Bowl against Virginia Tech in a rematch of last year's Chick-Fil-A Bowl, simply because I'd like to see us face someone we haven't faced recently in the post season.

This is exactly where the Gators where after the '01 season. Not in the SEC Championship game but ranked 4th at year's end. The Gators ended up in the Orange Bowl to face the ACC Champ. (Maryland).
I believe the same scenerio awaits UGA.
It will be the LAST game played in the Orange Bowl.
Not bad for the history books if UGA has that one under it's belt.

I really want to see the Dawgs in the Rose or Fiesta vs. a Big 12 or Pac-10 team.

The Orange bowl just doesnt excite me much. BC or VT Im kind of sick of playing ACC teams.

You guys are in the exact boat LSU was in last year. Going into the last week, not in the SECCG and wishing for the roses. If USC wouldn't have laid down against UCLA last year, we'd have gone to Pasedena. Guess where LSU ended up - the Sugar Bowl. I just thought I'd chime in since this thread was titled \"We Can't Get to the Sugar Bowl\". When LSU beats UT by 80 and jumps UGA, Mizzou and WVU lose, UGA will go to the Sugar Bowl. OK, so maybe I'm dreaming there....

Congrats on a great season. I'm predicting Orange Bowl for UGA. If LSU wins, we get Hawaii in the Sugar. Better get to ticketreserve and get your tickets!

1. Don't want to play the ACC chumps in the Orange Bowl
2. Pitt has NO CHANCE Saturday
3. I WANT USC!!!

I don't want to play VaTech 2 yrs. in a row. I don't like looking at Beamer's face.

The BCS takes that into consideration, I believe.........that is the part about playing somebody 2 years in a row.
