NO,....this thread dosn't imply that I've given up on this season, quite the contrary! In fact, I remain undecided about my overall opinion of both \"Slick Willie\" and Bobo because neither, IMVHO, have been given enough time to completely prove or disprove their merit. It's too easy to pass judgment from the security of these internets; as our well spoken yet affable President refers to them. And while I'm not satified with where we are right now, we are a far cry from Goff and DoNut!

The one thing that I have noticed about a CMR coached team, is that each side, O and D, feeds off the other. However, there always seems to be one particular icon, or point of reference that is responsible for the initial spark. That position is the QB and this is where we've been mired with inconsistency since Shock departed. As with my coaching statement above, I'll withhold my opinion on MS and give him the same benefit of improved variables that the coaches should get!

Which nicely segues to recruiting! Do y'all realize the class that we are putting together? At present we are ranked FIRST and THIRD (Rivals/Scout) nationally. We are still a long way from LOI's and ranking and commits may change, but the talent pipeline is wide open and flowing! It takes time to build an empire and there will always be roadblocks and setbacks, but I believe the future will look decidedly different than the unfortunate downturn we are all witness to.

Hope there are some O and D linemen in there.

There are presently four (4) D linemen (DT/DE) and nine (9) DB/LB/ATH's. On the other side, there are two (2) O linemen and two (2) TE's. The others are RB/WR and a K. I suspect we are still after five or so more, but its a damn fine class thus far!!!
