First off, glad that construction is underway in a big way.

Much will be said on this board and other sites in the coming months.

Having exceeded the goal of raising half of the monies needed/asked for by the Group, now the front man for the Group, McGarity feels emboldened. Now asking for more . . . .

I say this because it seems that the Group is never bashful when raising ticket prices, ignoring facilities for the fans that sit on lower levels, restricting campus areas for tailgating etc.

Amazes me that restrooms were allowed to remain in a certain condition for a long time. Pointed out by Bill King. The Group responded quickly when they were called on the carpet by Jeremy Pruitt as to what was needed to move Georgia Football forward.

Basically football money for the IPF will also accommodate and aid other sports on campus.

One name mentioned in the press release . . . . Francis Tarkenton. No surprise from where I sit.

Thank you Coach Jeremy Pruitt. Dirt is being moved because you were much "wiser" than those that have held our program back for far too long.

Yes thank you CJP......not only for the push to get the

IPF built but being the first to start building our new

Culture....laced with Bama's mindset for winning...

In an indirect way you helped change who our HC was...

An open end statement from the author of the article below. "Pouty".

Keeping Pruitt at Georgia is not expected to be a viable option. Pruitt was the source of dissension between other members of the Bulldogs’ coaching staff and had confrontations with other individuals in roles of administrative support.

In two short years at UGA, Pruitt developed a reputation as a hard-charging maverick who had little use for protocol and decorum. He drew the ire of McGarity during the 2014 season when he openly complained about the program’s lack of an indoor practice facility and said it hurt the Bulldogs perceptually and in on-field preparation.

Throwing "stuff" against the wall to see if it will stick. It has been said before on this board, there will be a lot of "pat me on the back" chatter once the IPF was/is underway. Here they come big time. Only right to have the "facts" in place, not just the "smoothing over" what really happened and why and by whom. Public Relations trying to protect some in the system.

Without a Pruitt there wouldn't be a Kirby.

On an aside, Thomas Davis is one tough man.
Cam Newton is a crybaby.

I see the ipf as a bigger deal for recruiting than improving the team. It's another carrot to wave in front of the recruits.
